My name is Tino, and this is my little corner of the world-wide-web. What goes here is controlled by me, not AI, not an algo. Every single word, dumb gif, and stamp, all mine.



I don't think I'm alone in the claustrophobia and fear that I feel on the modern web, the constant attack on my attention, my emotions, and my inner peace.



The web used to feel like a safe space I could go anytime, to blow-off steam and relax, alone or with my friends. To learn new things, or to process how my day went, after school or work. A third-place I could customize and share with others. Like a cozy tree-house that evolved with me.



But then, everything changed... I stopped recognizing where I was, what I was doing, and why I was even coming back... except I had to come back, right? What about that news story I was checking 10 minutes ago, had it updated? And that post I worked so hard to appear perfect in, did people buy it? How many followers is my profile at? Did they finally reply to my -read- message? How about now? And NOW?...



I was no longer in control. The web was no longer mine.
